Throwback Thursday…. This photo shows a ‘68 Dodge Charger being assembled in Hamtramck, Michigan.  Dodge produced 96,100 Chargers that year and it was a huge hit with the auto consumer.. Though its numbers in performance was modest compared to todays’ standards the 440-equipped Charger R/T managed a 6.5-second 0-to-60-mph clocking and ran the quarter-mile in 14.9 seconds at 95.5 mph. In the muscle car era, that was quite astonishing
